Hello Ms. Dewberry's Class!
We are so excited to do the Monster Match with you. I am posting the information from our class (with some minor spelling corrections), but all of the directions were written by the students. To make it easier for you, we have split it up into body parts. Enjoy, and we can't wait to see your monster!!!!!!!!!!!
-Mrs. Bramanti
P.S. MS. DEWBERRY, I HAD TO USE HOT GLUE ON A LOT OF THESE...HOPEFULLY YOU HAVE A HOT GLUE GUN. THE REGULAR WHITE GLUE/GLUE STICKS/ETC. REALLY WOULD NOT HOLD IT TOGETHER. :( Also, like I said, I had to fix the spelling on a lot of the instructions. Hopefully you can figure it out okay...we had to do a few drafts before they made sense!

3 paper plates

1. Blow up balloons.
2. Put paper over a balloon. Like a bag. Glue shut.
3. Cut out a red mouth. Cut one paper plate to make pointy teeth. Glue them on.
4. Cut 2 green triangles for eyes. Glue yarn in the middle for eyeballs.
5. Glue mouth and eyes on head.
6. Use glue and put it all over the plastic cup, and then put black paper on the glue. And yarn. You made your nose! Put it on the head.

1. Make holes in the cups. Put a string in. Make them all together. 6 on one side. 6 on the other.
2. Tie string at top and bottom so cups don't fall off. That would be bad.
3. Glue to body on sides.
4. Making paws - to make it you glue black paper on a plate. Do it twice. Cut another plate to make claws.
5. Make 6 small orange circles and 2 bigger ones. Put on bottom to make bottom of paws. Tie them to the ends of the cups. Use lots of glue.

2 paper plates
orange and yellow and white construction paper
something sharp for cups (again, Mrs. Bramanti helped out here)
