Monster Description
Lakeshore Middle School, Stevensville, Michigan
Our monster’s name is Noodle and Poodle. Our monster has two names because it has two heads and two bodies along with two different personalities. It is from the Planet Goobulhafer. The front of our monster is a boy and the other side is a girl. These two sides fight quite often. When they fight, they find that they are always falling over because of trying to hit each other. The one arm has no fingers and is a saw in order to chop up wood which it likes to eat with nacho cheese and mustard on top.
Head Description:
· Use the lid and the bottom of a shoe box and make one go in the other.
· Before they are put together, wrap one side in orange and the other side in indigo blue.
· Use 2 plastic cups for the eyes, and put a line going up and down with a permanent marker.
· Blow up 1 balloon for the blue side’s nose, then glue it on the blue side, then
· curl up a piece of blue construction paper and put it on the orange head.
· For the blue side’s mouth, put a piece of yarn in a bone shape.
· For the orange side’s mouth, put yarn in a regular mouth shape.
· Put different yarn on the orange side’s hair.
· Blow up 2 balloons (1 red and 1 blue) and put them on the side of the head. (The red one should be bigger than the blue.)
Body Description:
· Use a 11 in. by 15 in. box wrapped in black paper.
· Cut a 4.5 by 4.5 by 4.5 in. triangle out of white paper. Glue the triangle on the front, center of the box.
· Cut a 2 and 2.5 in. rectangle for a pocket out of red paper.
· Place pocket 2.5 inches down from the top of the body on the right side.
· Make 3 yellow oval buttons and place all 3 in center with one below the other.
· On the back of the black-covered shoe box, Turn box over and cover the back side with red paper. At the top of the red paper, cut out a “v-neck”. Tape it down on back of box.
· For the red side, make a 10 by ½ inch belt out of green paper.
· Glue the green belt down from one side to the other.
· Glue a long, unblown blue balloon across the green belt.
· Get a 12 by 7 inch box and wrap it in navy blue paper.
· Make another red pocket 3 by 3 ½ and tape it 2 centimeters down from top of navy blue box .
· Make a black pocket 2 ¼ by 3 inches and tape in left hand corner of the red on back of box .
· Make a green heart and tape on the black pocket.
· Glue the navy box to the bottom of the black and red box .
Arms Description:
· We took 3 feet of yarn.
· We took 4 Styrofoam cups and poked holes in them on the sides.
· We took the yarn and put it in through the holes of the cups. (For each arm).
· We took 2 paper plates and strung them together tied the yarn together to make them stay. Do the same on the other side.
· For the fingers we blew up balloons just a little bit and taped the hands.
· For one arm we took red paper and covered the arms also covered the paper plates.
· One arm is a chain saw. The chain saw is covered in blue paper, without the balloons.
Legs Description:
· Cover 2 shoe boxes with paper (one with light blue and one with green).
· Get 8 cups and purple yarn. Put holes in the top of the cups, tie the cups together, and knot the yarn.
· Each leg has 4 cups.
· Tape the bottom cups to the shoe boxes.
· Use glue to attach the top of the legs to the side of the body.

Head
Cut out 6 pieces of cardboard from a shoebox. The length is 10 inches the width is 5 inches. Then cut 8 pieces of string 5 inches each. Next poke holes in each corner of the cardboard pieces and make a square by tying the cardboard pieces together with the string. Two of the pieces should be tied to the top of the square in an upside down ‘v’ making a triangle on top of the head.
Popping out eye
1. Glue a black circle to the plate of a dimension of 15 cm. and glue the black outline of a circle around the circle.
2. Punch 2 holes on the sides of the plate and 1 Dixie cup and tie them together
3. Then stack a second and third cup on top of each other.
4. Punch 2 holes on the sides of the Dixie cups and tie them together
Horns
Cut 2 12 inch long 6 ½ inch tall triangle for the
Spider web necklace
1. You cut 40 pieces of yarn at 5-20 inches long.
2. The colors that they have to be are Halloween.
3. All you do is place the strings about 2 ½ inches apart
4. You place the strings wherever you can but they have to be that distance apart.
T- shirt
1. Cut a shirt out of construction paper
2. Cut it 9 ½ torso and 5 inch long sleeves and a circle of 3 inch circumference and cut small flowers
3. Cut holes and yarn to fit into the holes
Body
1. Cut 6, 9 by 11 inch cardboard and tape them together as a cube
2. Then get yellow and green construction paper
3. Next cut it into 9 by 11 pieces and glue it on top of the cardboard.
Ears
1. Take 2 paper plates
2. 8 4 ½ inches of orange string
3. Glue the orange strips of string pieces into the center of the paper plates
Cape
1. First get 3 pieces of black construction paper
2. then glue them together to make a rectangle
3. Cut it in a triangle form leave top flat
4. Get a blue oval, glue on caps, then glue the letters Sm onto it
5. Then make it look all torn up, and make the bottom zig zag
Tail
1. Cut construction paper 2 feet 6 inches wide
2. Roll it
3. Glue the bottom
Shoes
1. 12 inch tall
2. 6.5 wide
3. Sides, 6 inches long
4. 1 inch long
Pink Guitar
1. cut out an 11 15/16 by 10 6/16 guitar out of construction paper
2. cut out A piece of 2 inch width by 16 inch long brown neck out of construction paper
3. put a piece of brown cardboard on the back
4. make a strap out of the opposite of black string 5. attach it all with glue
6. cut out a brown circle and glue it in the middle
7. attach six 24 inch paper ‘strings’ to the guitar
8. attach all with glue
Afro
To make the afro you need most of a whole spool of white yarn. Then take the yarn and make it into a big ball. Lastly put the yarn in the triangular piece of card board.
