We made a monster named Chubby, and we are going to describe him to you. Our monster is made out of supplies that can be found in your school. The head is a large blue circle cut out of butcher paper, and stuffed with newspaper. He has one white circle eye in the middle of his head. Inside his eye is a pink oval with a purple triangle in it. The nose is the bottom of a red plastic “Solo” cup, colored with green marker inside. The mouth is cut from a white paper plate in the shape of a smile. The yellow construction paper inside the mouth looks like a banana. The head is connected to a neck made of rolled up newspaper. Ther e is red construction paper wrapped around the bottom front part of the neck.
The body is made from a shoe box wrapped with yellow and green construction paper. Glued onto the front of the body are 3 red “Solo” cups shaped into a pyramid. Chubby has four arms connected to his body through holes in the shoe box. There are two arms on each side. The arms are crafted out of rolled up newspaper. The hands are traced from the teacher’s hand onto green construction paper. The top right hand is holding a black construction paper remote control. The bottom right hand is empty. The top left hand is holding a paper plate, on the plate is a slice of pepperoni pizza drafted from construction paper. The bottom left hand is holding nothing.
Chubby’s two legs are brown rectangular pieces of butcher paper stuffed with newspaper and stitched to the body with black yarn. The left leg has fallen off and needs surgery to be reattached. His two feet are also made out of shoe boxes. We put black construction paper around each shoe box. Each foot has hairy toes (made of cut up black yarn pieces). The toenails are cut from yellow and brown construction paper, but he has seven toes instead of five. Both feet have a section of black yarn wrapped and tied around the middle to hold the box closed. On top of each foot is a pink construction paper square for his skin. The feet are stitched to the legs with black yarn. That is what our monster looks like. I hope you can make a good match to Chubby.

Our monster's name is Apple and we will describe her to you. Our monster is made out of materials that you can find in your school. The head is a brown 5 inch square made out of a poster board. The eyes are red 4 1/2 inches from the bottom and 1 inch from the side made out of construction paper. The eyes are 2 1/2 equilateral triangles opposite from each other to look like a diamond made out of construction paper. The nose is a right triangle that is 2 1/2 inches from the left and 2 inches from the bottom made out of construction paper. The ears are black on the outside of the square and are three inches from the stomach made out of card board. The mouth is white and is three 1 1/2 equilateral triangles that make a rectangle. It is a quarter of an inch from the stomach and made out of construction paper. The stomach is brown and 14 inches in diameter and is made out of a poster board. The arms are brown rectangles and are 4 inches from the stomach and are 7 1/2 by 15 inches. The shoulders are 4 by 2 inches, are brown, and made out of cardboard. The feet are two equilateral triangles that black made out of 2 inch cardboard pieces. They are 1 1/2 inches apart at the bottom of the stomach. The hands are made out of four 1/2 inch triangles made out of construction paper and when put together to make half of an octagon at the bottom the the arms. They are black and 2 inches from the left of bottom the arm. Have fun making a match to Apple.
