We cut a red rectangle 18"x21" out of bulletin board paper for the body. We traced 3 large paper plates onto pink, blue, and red construction paper. Our monster has three heads. They are glued in this order across the 18" top. Our monster has two blue diamond pattern block sized shaped ears. He has 1 purple circle eye glued on the pink head and 1 black circle eye glued on the red head. They are each 2 1/2 inch circles. We traced an index card (3x5) on orange construction paper. We used green pattern block triangles for the teeth at the top and bottom of the rectangle. We made 4 six inch yellow triangles and glued the flat side on top of the pink head and red head. Then we glued the other triangle onto the inside of the first triangle pointed up for a horn.
We traced 12 school boxes with blue construction paper and glued them to make 2 long legs of six on each side. They are in a zig zag going down. We traced 2 students feet with green paper and glued them at the bottom of the zigzag legs facing down.
The arms are 4 paper towel rolls. We stuck one inside the other to attach two together and painted them dark blue. We punched a hole in the end and attached them with black yarn under the pink and red heads onto the red body. The arms also have 3 hands on each side. The black hand is at the top of the paper towel roll where it is attached to the body. The brown hand is in the middle and the yellow hand is at the bottom of the roll.

We had a lot of fun making our monster for Monster Match. We have named him Egbert, and he is very unique. To begin with, he has two heads made of white paper plates. On each head he has one horn pointing to the outside made of pink contruction paper. The horn is about 9 inches long, and shaped like a feather with frayed edges. On each head it also has a mouth in the lower center made of a red plastic cup. The opening of the cup faces out, and we glued golden yellow paper poiny teeth along the inside of the cup. The teeth are triangle shaped and about an inch long. Each head also has three eyes in a row, two are circles made of yellow construction paper with gray circle centers and one is a gray square with a smaller gray square in the center. The square eye is between the two circle eyes. All of the eyes are between an inch and an inch and a half. On each circle eye, our monster also has blue yarn eyelashes on the top of the eye. Each head is connected to the body with maroon twisted butcher paper necks, each neck about two and a half inches long.
The body of Egbert is made of green butcher paper. He is a very long, tall, skinny monster. He body is shaped like a rectangle (13 inches wide, and 36 inches tall). He is covered with purple spots cut out of construction paper in various sizes and oblong shapes.
He has one arm glued to each side of this body, but the arm is jointed in many sections (like at "L" at each joint). Each section of his arm is about 8 inches long and and an inch and a half wide, made of white paper. At each joint and at the end of his arm, he has a hand that we traced from ourselves and cut out. That makes five hands on each arm. His right arm has five different colored hands: green, red, blue, orange, and purple. The left arm has five colored hands: yellow, orange, green, light blue, and light purple.
Last but not least, Egbert has very long legs . . . he would make a great basketball player! Each leg is made of white butcher paper, about two inches wide and 24 inches long. Each leg is folded accordian-style going down, and at the bottom of each leg would be his flower feet. One foot is attached to each leg and is about eight inches wide. It is made of yellow construction paper we cut out in the shape of a daisy with a small red circle center. The right foot has rounded petals, and the left foot has more jagged type petals.
