Classroom A: Vicki Thompson (East Ward, Killeen ISD, Killeen, TX)

Our monster’s head and body is all one shape. Our monster’s shape is about two feet long and one and a half feet wide. It is a large lime green oval shape. Our monster has two black horns sticking from the top of its body. On each side of the monster and towards the top are two large pink ears. These pink ears are folded so that they stick out from the monster. At the top of the monster’s body are six red glowing eyes. The monster has only one black eyebrow. Its is just above the six eyes in the middle of the eyes. Just below the eyes are four brown triangular shaped noses. Each nose has two black nostrils. Just below the noses are three smiling mouths. The square teeth are showing in each mouth. The mouths are light blue paper but colored over with white crayon. The space between the rows of teeth is black. On each side of the monster’s body are two large black wings (one wing on each side of the body). One wing is black with some dark blue at the wing’s tip. The other wing is colored with yellow crayon and this yellow is outlined with white. In front of each wing are three tentacle arms. These tentacle arms are green and covered with small blue dots. At the bottom of the monster are six lime green tentacle legs. These legs stick out from the monster’s body. These tentacle legs are covered with green dots. These dots are the suction cups for the tentacles. Also the monster is covered with purple dots all over its shape. Some dots are the size of a quarter and some are the size of a penney.

Classroom B: Judy Bussler (Patrick Hamilton, Dowagiac, MI)

Our monster is named Patrick Hamilton. His head is made of a large white paper plate with 3 blue eyes the size of quarters, a purple nose in the shape of a 3 x 3 x 5 triangle, a frowning red mouth with 5 green pointy teeth, a green mole the size of a nickel on his right cheek, and ears the size and shape and color of a medium banana.  Each ear has a broom 3 inches long for earrings.  He has 10 strands of hair. 5 strands are pink and 5 are black with an orange beetle on one strand. Each strand is 7 inches long. His red neck is a 6" x 4" rectangle and attached to his large black construction paper torso that has a yellow star-shaped happy face belly button that is 6 inches from the bottom and in the middle of his torso.  His 2 arms are orange and purple striped and are 20" x 4" long. They are attached 5 inches down on each side of his torso.  His hands are made of small paper plates each with 3 drinking straw fingers. His nails are small black bats.  His legs are made of 2 shoe boxes each and covered with black paper with a circular green knee cap connecting each box .  His feet are 5" x 5" yellow and green striped squares each with 4 black and green striped toes that are 3 x 3 x 3 inch triangles.  They each have ghost shaped toe nails.
