Yellow, red, and blue construction paper
one red medium sized balloon
one Styrofoam cup,
yellow-orange yarn
comic page from newspaper
one medium size shoe box that is still connected on one side (like a hinge)
liquid Elmer’s glue (stick glue will not work)
Head
Blow up balloon. Cut out one blue circle for an eye. Our monster has no mouth! Glue yarn on top on balloon to create hair.
Body
Cover the front and back of the box with blue construction paper. The sides, top, and bottom are covered in yellow paper. The box opens like a book. Inside the box are comic strips glued down. Since the monster has no mouth, this is how he talks! He is a funny monster!
Feet/Leg
He has no feet. Instead take the Styrofoam cup and cut a spiral out of it. The cup should look like a spring.
